The Dreaded "Computer Back"
Over the past seventeen years I have treated hundreds of cases of what I call "Computer Back." Sitting at a desk while looking at a computer screen for hours a day is incredibly hard on your neck and upper back. Even with the best ergonomic chair and even if your desk and computer monitor is in the optimum position; even with the best keyboard and mouse, the act of sitting at a desk for extended periods of time is bad for your musculoskeletal system.
Generally speaking, the conition is charcterized by neck stiffness, pain and tightness between the shoulder blades and possibly headaches. Unfortunately most folks think they have to bear these symptoms and surrender themslves to a life of misery and advil. Well, I have great news for you. YOU DON"T HAVE TO LIVE WITH "COMPUTER BACK." Gentle, safe Chiropractic manipulation of the upper back and neck will (in most cases) relieve the pain and stiffnes associated with this condition. Tension type headaches usually abate with treatment because muscle tension is reduced. Even better, the wear and tear on muscles and joints due to sitting at a desk for long periods of time can actually be eliminated by mobilization of joints and muscles.
Come on in for a No Charge Consultation/Examination (including x-rays and treatment). Feel the difference that good Chiropractic care can make. It is quite possible that this simple treatment could change your whole outlook on life (and work!).
