Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is extremely painful in many cases and awfully aggrivating in almost all instances. Reoccurring wrist pain or hand numbness (or both) is a tale tale sign of this condition. Most sufferers of the plague are folks who use their hands repetitively (like grocery store cashiers or typists). There is no good medical solution! Surgery often leaves the patient with permanent numbness. Most Carpal Tunnel is caused by a misalignment of the "Lunate" carpal bone (one of the nine wrist bones). The surgical procedure is to cut the band that holds the wrist bones in place (called the "retinaculem")in order to relieve pressure on surrounding nerves. Chiropractic manipulation of the wrist bones relieves the pressure without surgery! The chiropracic treatment is normally pain free and is more effective than surgery in most cases. And... no scars or residual numbness!
